Steps

Admission Process

A simple, transparent 5-step process to join Path Bhaban.

Collect / Download Form

Visit school office or download the admission form from our website. Fill in all details carefully.

Submit Application

Submit the completed application form along with all required documents to the school office.

Entrance Assessment

Appear for a brief interaction and basic assessment (for Class V & XI). Other classes based on previous marks.

Fee Payment

Upon selection, pay the admission fee and first-month tuition at the school accounts office.

Enrollment Complete

Receive the student ID, uniform list, booklist and report to class on the specified joining date.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

Class V Entry

Must have successfully passed Class IV from a recognised school. Age should be between 9–12 years as of 1st April of the admission year. Original mark sheet and TC required.

Class VI–IX

Must have passed the previous class from a WBBSE-affiliated or equivalent school. Minimum 40% marks required. Direct lateral entry subject to availability of seats.

Class XI (Higher Secondary)

Must have cleared Class X (Madhyamik or equivalent) with minimum 45% aggregate. Choice of stream (Science/Arts/Commerce) based on Class X marks.

Path Bhaban offers safe, comfortable hostel accommodation for both boys and girls in separate wings. Our hostel is monitored 24/7 and provides a structured, nurturing residential environment.

Day Scholar & Transport

Day scholars attend school from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. School transport is available on several routes covering Buniadpur, Banshihari and surrounding areas.

School hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Transport available on 5 routes
Bus routes: Buniadpur, Banshihari, Narayanpur vicinity
Transport fee: ₹800–1,200/month (distance-based)

Policies

Rules & Regulations

Attendance Policy
A minimum attendance of 75% is mandatory to appear in examinations. Students with attendance below 75% may be detained. Parents will be notified of absenteeism regularly.
School Uniform
All students must wear the prescribed school uniform on all working days. Uniform consists of white shirt/blouse and navy blue trousers/skirt. Shoes must be black. No jewellery except small earrings for girls.
Discipline & Conduct
Students must maintain discipline in and around school premises. Bullying, ragging, use of abusive language, vandalism or any form of violence is strictly prohibited and can result in expulsion.
Mobile Phone Policy
Students are not permitted to carry mobile phones on school premises. Phones found will be confiscated. For emergency contact, the school office phone (7797078169) may be used.
Leave Application
Leave of absence must be applied for in writing by the parent/guardian before the absence, except in case of medical emergencies. Unexplained absence for 3+ consecutive days may lead to removal from rolls.
Fee Payment
Fees must be paid by the 10th of every month. A late fee of ₹100 will be charged after the 15th. Non-payment for 2 consecutive months may result in suspension of attendance.
Examination Rules
Cheating or misconduct during exams results in cancellation of the paper. Students must bring their Hall Tickets to board exams. Late arrival beyond 30 minutes may not be permitted entry.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the admission process begin?
Admissions typically open in February–March for the next academic year (April start). Online applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Early applications are recommended as seats are limited.
Is there an entrance test for admission?
A brief interaction and basic assessment is conducted for students joining Class V and Class XI. For other classes, admission is based on previous class marks and TC.
Can students from other states apply?
Yes, students from any state or board are welcome to apply. They must provide a Transfer Certificate and relevant mark sheets. Their admission is subject to seat availability.
What is the fee refund policy?
The admission fee is non-refundable once paid. Monthly fees paid in advance for future months will be refunded on a pro-rata basis if the student leaves mid-month, after deducting processing charges.
Are there scholarships available?
Yes. Merit scholarships are awarded annually to top performers in each class. Special fee concessions are available for students from economically weaker sections (EWS). Contact office for details.
Is the school co-educational?
Yes, Path Bhaban is a fully co-educational institution. Boys and girls study together in all classes. Separate hostel facilities are provided for residential students.
How do I track my application status?
